The Loulé rock salt mine is a tourist attraction that offers a 2-hour tour 230 meters underground, where visitors can learn about the history of the mine, admire geological formations 230 million years old and learn about the ancient and current mining processes.
The tour is conducted in English, French and Portuguese and costs 25 euros for adults, 20 euros for groups of adults (10 people) and 15 euros for children (8-12 years).
The tour is available at four times a day: 9:30 and 11:00 in the morning and 14:00 and 16:00 in the afternoon.
